Job Description:
The Education Department at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate and/or graduate teacher licensure courses for the Spring 2023 semester.
Potential available courses include those that address the topics of early literacy, special education, and a pre-practicum field-based experience.
Courses focused on literacy (including as part of the Reading Specialist licensure program) may be also be available in subsequent semesters, including summer.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Education or related field, with experience in a position relevant to the course topic.
Undergraduate and/or graduate teaching experience desirable.
Experience with the course management system Canvas preferred.
Additional Information:
It is the policy of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts that all employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 before they begin employment.

Please note that all part-time instructor postings are for adjunct pools.
Positions may or may not be immediately available, however whenever openings occur, department chairs will turn to the adjunct pools to fill the openings.
Applicants to these pools will not hear back on their status unless an opening occurs and the department chair decides to interview that candidate to possibly fill the new opening.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
